What to Expect

It's understandable that you may have some questions about what you and your family can expect on a typical Sunday morning at Lifepoint. That's why we've listed some common questions and answers below. If we don't answer your questions here, give us a call or EMAIL US. We'd love to hear from you, and we look forward to seeing you this Sunday.

When are your services?

Our Traditional worship service begins at 8:30 a.m. and our Contemporary worship begins at 11:00 a.m. Bible Study/Sunday School classes meet in the middle at 10:00 a.m.

Where are your services held?

There are four buildings on the Lifepoint campus. The worship services are held in the main building marked “Worship Center.”

How do I get to Lifepoint?

We are located at 810 Austin Street in San Angelo, Texas.  Austin Street is located 2 blocks west of the Bryants in Santa Rita.  Map

Where do I park?

There are four parking lots on the Lifepoint campus. The largest lot is located on the North side of the Hope building, across the street from the Faith building and Worship Center.  This lot has reserved parking for our first time guests and those who need handicap parking.

What is a Sunday service like?

While words cannot thoroughly describe the worship experience at Lifepoint, our team is committed to presenting God's truth in compelling, creative, and challenging ways.  If you'd like to view a recent sermon, or listen to previous sermons, please visit our media page.

What should I wear when I attend Lifepoint?

At Lifepoint, we like to keep things comfortable for you. This means something different to everyone. We welcome you to dress as nicely as you would like, but for the vast majority of those attending on Sunday mornings, attire is casual.

What is the music like?

At Lifepoint, we understand that people have varying tastes in music so we have developed two different music styles. The Traditional service at 8:30 a.m. offers a blended style of music, combining hymns with newer choruses, led by a praise team, and accompanied by keyboards, bass guitar, and drums.  The Contemporary service at 11:00 a.m. uses more guitars and drums, and sounds more like what you would hear on your contemporary radio station.

Where do I take my children?

Classrooms for preschool children (birth through age 3) are located just inside the front doors of the Faith building. Classrooms for Pre-K through 5th grade are located in the Family Center. There you will find our KidZone where we have wonderful and talented people caring for the children in a safe and friendly environment.

Do you have anything for Middle School and High School students?

Absolutely! We have an energetic team which plans small group and worship time for our students each week.

Do you offer adult Sunday School?

Yes, we do!  We believe that adults need to engage in meaningful community with others and to have regular times of fellowship, Bible study, and prayer. We accomplish this with adult Sunday School/Bible Studies on Sundays at 10:00 a.m. and LIFEgroups that meet on Sunday nights at 6:00 PM.  At Lifepoint, our LIFEgroups exist to encourage people to get connected. LIFEgroups exist for different ages and stages of life and meet on the Lifepoint campus for your convenience.

How can I meet people or ask additional questions about the church?

The best way to meet people at Lifepoint is to get involved in a Bible Study/Sunday School class or find a LIFEgroup.  We understand that personal relationships are the primary glue for permanent connection to Lifepoint and a relationship with God.  Our Guest Information volunteers are located just inside the Worship Center doors to answer any questions you may have or feel free to call us at the church office 325-655-9319 or send us an EMAIL.
